Hey Guys,

I have a BenQ drive and I have succesfully flashed it with Jungle Flasher and the CK3 PRO kit thanks to help from belenos and leerage.. and other friends here..

Now I really need some help and advice regarding how to flash a Lite on.. My good friend has a Lite-on drive and would like me to do it for him..

Now I have no problems and I am sure you guys will guide me through this but do I need a Probe? or is the CK3 PRO all I need ? Please can I have some advice and help and how to do this.. any links to tutorials etc..

Many Thanks...

I bought one looks better.

Or if you have good soldering skills you can solder the r707 and then remove it when ur done.

just be carefull not to touch the probe on anything besides the r707 hole. I do mean anything! make sure to remove the via drivers to prevent freezing. go to dvdkey32 click get key, create dummy, open as source.then click yes. I then go back to dvdkey32 and do the get key again just to be safe and make sure the keys match. then go to mtk tab click lite-on erase. then click write.

If you have an extra drive sitting around i recommend spoofing the drive to make sure the key is correct before erasing the lite-on. This is the only 100% way to know if the key is correct.

true bd911. I have heard that. Also have heard people say to remove it. I have used the xtractor from the start so was never an issue for me.

Thanks for the clarification tho.

I could be mistaken ( i dont have any hardware in front of me at the moment) but the r707 leads out to the dvd power header. It terminates at a point where the xbox360 dvd linker cable has an empty spot, no wire at all. Belenos, could you take a look, (I can't get to my drives right now, I travel for work and am 1000 miles away from all my xbox stuff)

I would be happy to unfortunately I sent out my last lite-on yesterday. But i have heard it said that it can be left on so im sure you are correct. I was just thinking to put everything as original as possible to prevent anykind of detection.
