Well I was deciding to buy a pro duo memory stick, but there are lots of different brands like sandisk and sony does it matter which one I choose?

i use both,both work well. sandisk is cheaper and ,if you plan on making a magic mem stick, i personally have had better results with the sandisk

I would go with sandisk too. I got about 2 sandisk, 2 fakes, and 1 sony psp memory stick. And only the sony acts up now and then.
