ok so i have a friends wii and ive done min before but his is new. his firmware is 3.4u so i installed the first 2 wads (ios 257 and cios fix) but after it would not load any thing in homebrew(sat at black screen) except custom wad manager which i could not uninstall any wads and nothing was working so i now by accident installed 4.0u and now it will not load anything in homebrew channel just goes to a black screen which requires a hardreboot

any help please

since you are now in 4.0 and not able to fully install the HBC hack and other apps there's no way you can have the Hack in 4.0. In 4.0 the hack is block. If you were able to install cios rev7 or rev8 then you are in luck but seems like you did not. All you can do now is wait for somebody to come up with a fix. By the way, do not delete or move the HBC to the SD.

i have the hbc but everytime i try to use anything it goes black but i read on some forum the new consoles have some new boot1 thing and can't be softmoded at this time

I have Lu62269..... bought in december, updated to 4.0 can run my original wads I had installed gives me an error every time I try to install a wad now,I tried the any region 1.1, doesn't work, don't think I have the rev7 or 8 file. does mine have on option for this new boot1 thing?
