Size has nothing to do with it.
Try ripping with DVDFab HD Decrypter (free).

Use DvdFab HD Decrypter to rip the movie to your HDD.
Use either FixVts or VobBlanker to clean the files up a bit.
Dvd Rebuilder to encode the files to fit on a single layer disc or Dvd Shrink to transcode the files to fit on a single layer disc. (Dvd Rebuilder is the preferred method, especially for higher compression)
Imgburn to burn the files to a dvd.
More info is in the top two links in my sig.
Edit: additional text and some minor grammatical adjustments.

I've used the DVDFab to rip the DVD and used VobBlanker to clean the files up a bit. After ripping the file was 7+GB and after VobBlanker was still 6+GB and it cant' burn to DVD+R. What should I do? Thanks.
