FLASHING BENQ FROM 1.4 TO 1.51 QUESTION

Is it possible to just flash over my existing ixtreme 1.4 firmware to the new ixtreme 1.51 using iprep. I know everone is talking about Jungle Flasher but Im really confused. I purchased a key Grabber with
probe thing on it for my friends LiteOn Drive and Im not sure if I can use it to flash a BenQ or not? People are talking about flashing with iprep, JungleFlasher, and other programs. Im confused and yes I have spent days reading and trying to figure out how before posting. I need to reflash over twenty xboxs and am feeling abit overwellmed but for now I want to start with my own which happens to be a BenQ. Can I just Flash it the old way with iprep and can I just flash over existing firware witch is 1.4 please help

Yes you can use iPrep to flash over ix1.4 with ix1.51. You will need to update the xml definitions in iPrep so it will accept the ix 1.51 firmware.

I have used iPrep before but I find that Jungle Flasher and Dos-Flash GUI is far superior to iPrep. Everything is Windows based and you don't have to reboot your computer all time. Here is the link to the Jungle Flasher Tutorial.

With the BenQ, Samsung, and Lite-ON, you can flash over iXtreme firmware. But with the Hitachi, it is wise to restore to original and then flash iXtreme.
