How to backup my game

Two days ago I brought a brand new Wii Console with Sports and I also purchased Call of Duty game for 52$.

I do not want to loose this game when the CD gets corrupted. How do I take a backup of this game and make it work on my Wii?

Yes, I have read many posts in the internet to use Homebrew or Twilight or WiiKey. Are these the only options if I am doing it legally?

BTW, my Wii console got updated to 4.0 version when I got it connected to internet.

Please advice.

The only solution for you to play backup is modchip, not possible to do softmod in 4.0 as of to this date. if you have not updated then there should be possibility to do softmod.

Legally?? what do you think? you have done already your homework.

A hardmod could coz you $50.00 to $100.00 depending if you do it yourself. So now just 1 game now cost you $52.00 + 50.00 to 100.00 extra cost. So a modchip or just buy another copy of your favorite game?
