RACEDRIVER GRID ONLINE RANKING PROBLEM PLZ HELP

might sound a little strange but i have a problem with my online ranking ,when i first started playing all was gd saving ranking as i go ,this problem occured the other night ,i was champion 3 star with 14 points to go to next ranking ,i stayed online and worked my way up to superstar ,at this point id had enough and finnished game,next time i went on i saw i was a champion again 3 star with 14 points to go ,i thought verry strange ,after i had gotton the 14 points i went straight back to superstar missing out legend,hmmmmmmmmmmmm i carried on playing and got to superstar 2 star ,after finishing the game again and shutting down the system i got put back to champion 3 star with 14 points to go,has anyone had the same prob with ranking and how did they resolve it thanx
