I keep looking up thi topic and i continue to see outdated infor 2007 2008 i have a friend who wants to help me flash so i can back up my games and play them. my concern is that i evjoy playing live and he assures me the latest flash will not be detected. Should i trust his info? Or will i eventually get banned as stated in other posts?

Having your console possibly banned is the only downside to flashing.

As long as you have the most current iXtreme FW and your games are Stealth Patched and verified with ABGX360 then you've taken all the precautions necessary to stay !Liveable.

No problem.

Once you have a game ripped you can always save the .ISO to any type of media you wish. DVD+DL or Hard Drive or Flash Drive for that matter.

If you are asking if you can play the games from an external hard drive that's a no.

You are able to install and play games from an official Microsoft Xbox 360 hard drive but it still requires the disc to be inserted during game play.

Hope this helps.
