PSP 3.30oe-a freezes when I try to play snes9x emulator

when I press x it starts loading and once I think im there it flashes a white screen and makes a little thunk sound through the speakers and just freezes up.I just replaced the screen,umd drive and face plate and just got it working after about a year not being able to mess with it because it was broken...I even had to bridge the backlight fuse with solder.It worked fine before all this ,please some one help me before I go insane wasting more time to fix this thing.....PSP 1001 fat btw

I would suggest updating to 5.oom33-6, everything I have tried "so far" has worked beautifully and this includes snes, pico, daedalus, nester, irshell, popsloader, cxmb, and remotejoy v.19, all installed right now with no issues
