Just purchases after my last falcon died of E74 error. Wondering if any one knows what way the HANA or ANA Chip is like on the JASPER chipset? Has it been soldered to the board with legs or is it stuck down on top like the Falcon? May be possible to fix E74 errors if the HANA chip had legs and soldered to the board instead of just plumped on top!

Btw no probs as yet with the new chipset

i had a few jaspers apart and didn't take note. i were to guess it is probally bga now. no legs. there is some hig res pics of the mobo floating around, look for them

i am not sure, you might try searching. I have only hear of one jasper failing and it was promptly returned to the store.
