So here's the deal, modded my SCPH-7701 ps2 with a Modbo 4.0. Its a GH-52-02 mainboard but I used the GH-51-02 diagram, which from what I read doesn't seem to be the problem. After working through some issues like short circuits, poor soldering, and a dirty lens, everything finally booted up.

Plays original games first try, no problems. To play a PS2 backup, I have to try it once then reset it once to get it to play, no big deal, I can handle that. But it will not play PSX backups, no matter how many resets. Seems to have the latest firmware installed, v 1.99. Also won't play DVD's. I connected all of the points on my modbo including the CX point. I've ready multiple discussions about the 'F' point but my chip didn't have an 'F' connection.

Anyway, you guys got any ideas as to whats going on, I just want to be able to do PS2 and PSX backups. Thanks in advance for the help.
