I need help i think i bricked my ben-q

Ok so ive flashed 2 other ben-q's before in JF and everything went fine. this time i dump the dvd key and original fw and custom fw on the computer so im at the step where i press write and while it starts writing and reading bank 0 its my luck that the xbox turned off so the drive turned off. now whenever i hook up the dvd drive and turn it on it instantly freezes my computer and no details are displayed in JF about it. i have all the original stuff to put back on but how am i supposed to go about doing that? or is it just done for?

oh btw i have an extra ben q rom a diff xbox could i just plug that in and itll work? or what would i need to do to out that drive into the one that i think is bricked?

The drive isn't bricked, it just doesn't have firmware on it so that is why it doesn't eject. If you know what sata port the BenQ is on in JF, click Device ID and power cycle when prompted, and the flash chip should return 0x73. If you continue to have freezing problems, try booting dosflash 1.7 and writing the firmware.

thanks ill do that later ive decided to install another ben q and now it boots but just reads dvds im pretty sure i have my dvd key from the xbox would it be in the original fw? and how can i put the key onto the new ben q?

Load the firmware that has the drive key that is married to the 360 you want to use.
Autoload iXtreme 1.51. Autospoof and save CFW.
Click Device ID under the MTKflash tab.
Power cycle when prompted. Should return status 0x73.
Click write.

Same process, you just need to load the firmware that has the dvd key to work with the xbox you want to use.
Know what sata port your BenQ is on.
Click device ID and power cycle.
Return status 0x73 and write.
