Once you make your battery into a pandora, can you use it as a regular battery??

just wondering before i make it into a pandora. should i buy a spare? can i use a generic brand?

I would just buy a used Sony battery from a game store like Game Crazy then do the mod yourself. It is risky because you could mess up the battery but it is fairly easy. I just followed a video on youtube and it went well. All the videos are about the same, just do a search. There are methods where you can use software for it but they generally end up in errors and can make your battery just as useless just like if you mess up hard modding it. I got a batter from Game Crazy for 14.99 and it was well worth it. No screwing around, I opened it, did the mod and it worked great. Now I can hack my psp as much as i want without using any extra software.
