Ok so I have been searching the net and afterdawn for the answer to this and cant seem to get very far. I am fairly sure that a .cso file is a compressed .iso file but correct me if not. What is a "ripped" eboot as opposed to a "full" eboot? Just trying to pick the best format to use. Thank you in advance

My PSP life since mar 1st 2009 got used psp phat with 3.10-oe>3.40-oe>3.52m33>3.71m33>5.01 OFW no fun>3.71m33-4>4.01m33>5.00m33>5.00m33-6 knew nothing of psp before Mar 1st!!!!

.cso is compressed with 1-10 level and will play just as well as a .iso but at a lower MB size, and if its a ripped iso or cso they they have removed un-needed files like music, videos and folders that contain say a update to the firmware the umd needs in order to play.

Ok so I have many Eboots on my phat psp that play just fine with 5.00m33-6 with popsloader installed, now is an .iso any smaller in size to an eboot or just another method and is there any plugins or anything needed for iso and if its not too much to ask what your prefernce is when it comes to PSX

well since your talking psx, the iso is just a cd image file it depends on the game and the size of the discs is always less then 700mb when talking psx and even more so if its a small game or has been ripped and the psx iso can be used to play on emulators like pc and xbox but not on psp, a psp has to have it converted to an eboot and the eboot can be compressed to save space and can even include several .iso's to make it a multi disc eboot for switching discs and the .iso or .cso a psp can play has to be either a umd or umd video
