I need somebody to validate my rage...
Listen, I've been playing FPS/3rd Person Action/shooter(s) since Doom and Wolfenstein. I've got stripes and skills, of that much I'm confident and can be sure... But HOLY S**T!!!! I'm going to palm this game and punch it/watch it explode into a thousand pieces if I can't resolve this issue: EARLY in the game.... Act 2, playing as Cross... "Clearing the Way" for my hapless, liability of a wife... I have to man a mounted gun and shoot people... Now the entire rest of the game is/has been a breeze up until this point. I've literally spent 3 hours and screamed myself hoarse trying to do this (is it me? It can't be. Do I suddenly become retarded when I mount the gun?? Can't be)
I swear, it's impossible. I usually die almost instantly, but I've managed to last a few seconds before dying... I EVEN CHANGED THE DIFFICULTY TO "PUSSY" AND WAS KILLED EVEN FASTER!!!!
Difficult areas are the lifeblood of quality games, buy this is no... fun.... at all.
Am I the only one? I just have to know.
X360 - Jasper revision: modded
PS3 fat model w/250gb upgrade
Wii: soft modded w/320gb backup
PSP 2004: 5.50 gen-C prom
PSPgo : 6.37ofw w/27 converted isos

Sorry I haven't played the game, but this has to be the funniest thing I have read on here. I LOL'd.

Yes it's just you. I breezed through that spot on my first attempt on the middle and the hardest difficulty. It might help if you shoot the ppl that are trying to kill you. LOL.
Also this game sucked. It takes like 15 minutes on each level at the most. But then again its some easy gamer points.

i know the part you are talking about. you have to press B i think to lean back in the gun or take cover and they cant shoot you. It only takes a few hits and you will be on the verge of dieing. I found myself popping up and taking quick shots and ducking again quickly. they send about 3-4 waves of guys at you and the woman will move forward a little bit each time till she is on the right middle and that will be the last wave of baddies. I was stuck also till i figured you could take cover then i got it quicly. But here the kicker for me guys . My gf was signed into my account playing Guitar hero online and she turned off the guitar but didnt sign out so i was playing wanted and my controller wasnt signed in so i didnt get any acheivements or save game and i musta played like 5 levels LOL
but i kinda like the game, one of those single player action once thru types tho. definetely thankfull for backups when games like this come around as $60 would be a bit much for this

This isn't no once thru game. It's a game that had to be played 2 times. That way you van get the other 290 points for beating it on the hardest difficulty. Started hard like 2 hours ago, already on the last level. Then it's back to wheelman to finish it up.
But deffinitly agree that I'm glad I didn't buy this fame as I would have ben very mad to spend 60 bgcks on a game that takes 3 hours to beat.

eh i wish i was but im not the type to play a game twice thru unless it really really gets me going. I mean RE5 is amazing but i cant get into it for a 2nd go around for some reasson. to me after i play it once and i try again its just feels the same even if i have unlimited ammo or whatever

necrana: Yeah, it was about 1:30AM here when I really started feeling the burn of multiple failures at that one spot.. So I have a roommate that doesn't telecommute like I do (so she has to wake up crazy early for work) and I'm growling and letting out muffled screams at the TV.. No bueno.. No bueno at all. Hehe.

No doubt! I actually did shatter a game once using the aforementioned technique (it was the original NFL street on the old xbox. I could swear the cpu was cheating...)
to stealthdf: Thank you VERY much. All I had to do the whole time was press 'b' to take cover behind the turret's shield. Funny how they don't bother to mention these things to you at all. I breezed past that part on the next try..

no problem. it took me a few tries but i figured there had to me a way so i just started mashing buttons till i figured it out lol. trial and error as they say...or umm die and respawn ';..;'

Thanks for the tip guys. The turret was giving me blue balls too. This game is way too easy but it's pretty fun.
