Where did you get the NULL MODEM cable? and are you sure it is.

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

If you can afford to shop in Peats, you can afford to pay NTL for the full package!!!

having a bit of fun trying to flash my box t as well. i downloaded winRAR as i zapped my comp a few months ago and lost the programme i used last time to open the firmware. I have the right cables etc. but when i click on the firmware saved on my desktop it just opens up the window that offers me the chance to extract the file etc. could this be because i have the cable in the wrong usb port as i remember that only one of my ports worked last time but i thought i put it in the right one...gonna play around a bit longer but just could you just let me know that winRAR is the right one to have for the firmware. also is there anything else i need to do as its a year since i flashed it and i've forgotten everything i did!
