Will mmds go the same way as cable??????????. Has anyone the answer for that.
Also in different areas of cork the starview (c)boxs are crashing, while in other areas they are working fine. I reset a neighbours by simply rescaning and it worked since, yet I live in same apartment block and using a digivox which needed no readjustment.

Thats coz your Digiv*& has the latest firmware. You need to update the other box's or input K**s manually if no up to date firmware is available

Correct regarding latest firmware on digi, had a check on the k/s side and they have not changed, you suggest updating!, will that still be effective as said k/s remain same.
And any news regarding mmds?.

updating ur firmware will make it autoroll but it will not help for encryption change over.

correct on firmware been autoroll, But it was not the question I was asking fuerte197, as it happend he was right for when I went back to the box the k/s did change.
thanks anyway cactikid, maybe you can answer the mmds query.. will the encryption effect mmds?.

as UPC use 2 different symbol rates it could be a good while until they reach the cho*** areas
