I was planning on buying a PSP 2000 soon and was wondering how high are the chances I'm going to get one with a TA88v3 motherboard? If anyone know where I can get a PSP I can put custom firmware on for about 100-170 dollars please let me know.

if it was shipped within the last 6 months it most likely has ta88v3 so you're best chances are local pawn shops, flea markets, swap meats or on the internet like ebay or craigslist and you could try local game stores that may even have modded psp slims already like they do here, though i'm not sure where you live so yea...
