am going to try flashing drive myself,but which flasher do i go for.maximus flasher or executer flasher both will have probe/spear.have read mixed about both,all help thanked in advance.

I bought the maximus, I don't know why, just was easier for me to find. I haven't had any complaints, except I plugged the drive in while the Xecuter was on and it fried it, but the website I ordered it from sent me a brand new one free of charge. But anyway, like I said, it's great, and it works great.

It really shouldn't matter... Maximus came out with the tool first, and it's less expensive then Xecuters, but Xecuter is known for quality, and they have great support.

I personally just bought the Maximus, just cause I don't need much help working it. But if you are new to the whole modding thing, you may want to get good support from Xecuter.

So if $$$ isn't an issue for you, I would go Xecuter!
