I need some help here. I just bought a brand new Xbox 360 60GB Pro Console here in Canada yesterday (April 3rd, 2009). I love it so far but the whole reason I bought it was to get it modded.

So I believe I have a Lite On Drive but I just want to make sure I mod it properly and not do anything to mess up the console or do it wrong and get banned from Xbox Live.

Can anyone link me to a tutorial and tell me all the tools I need to order to mod this thing properly? I was looking at 360 Connectivity Kit V3 Pro CK3 Version2 and a Probe - CK3 Probe Add-on for the Xecuter Connectivity Kit 3 (Lite or Pro), is that all the hardware I need and can it be used more than once (if so how many times can it be used)? If so then I just need a proper tutorial. Any help appreciated, thanks!

It can be used as many times as you want unless it breaks. The tut with jungleflasher is good and explains it well. only other hardware I can think of is a SATA card unless you have compatible onboard.

I actually just built a new computer and I put in an Asus P5N72-T Premium Board.

Does anyone know if that is good enough or will I need the Sata Card?

I hope so cause a brand new Xbox failing would suck...

So I just need the 2 things mentioned in my post and nothing else? I will be ordering them soon.

If you onboard doesn't work, you will need to get a VIA card with the 6421 chipset. And all will need the probe and connectivity kit for a virgin drive.

Ok perfect I will order the CK3 and Probe, they can be used more than once correct (I'll probably 4 or 5 friends and a few family member's consoles as well)... There is a guy who does the mods here but he charges $80 per console so I figure why not just spend the $100 and get my own CK3 and Probe and do it for me and a few others.

Does anyone know how long they'll last?

They are just like any other electronic. use them properly and take care of them and they will last for a while. I have done 20+ flashes with mine.

Oh well I already spent the $100 on it.

I got it already and I don't know how to use it... I have VIsta x64 and I cannot seem to install PortIO32

When I connect everything up like the JungleFlasher tut says the drive doesn't even appear in the JunleFlasher program... Should I install XP 64 bit

Yeah that should work. I don't think many apps will work great with 64bit.

Best OS for compatibility is WinXP 32bit.
