Hi All

I have lost a couple of station on the box. I tried Factory settings - now I am stuck in the Language Screen - won't let me exit this - I can go forward but not back - What kind of f*ck up have I caused. Any help would be great

Before opening up a new thread , please search for your problem.. there is 100's of posts on the same subject... you will not get ur channels back if based in Dublin... only if you have a Kryptview (for the time being). New encryption system

Hi Troutalan

I am only looking to get the box working again - not too worried about the PPV channels etc. Just nothing happening now and can't get out of the screen

if you are missing Sports and movies, adult.etc.. then its due to the New encryption. If missing other channels to this then retry a factory reset abd rescan... Failing this a re-flash.

Hi Troutalan

Thanks for the advise - the problem is I tried the factory setting and now the screen is locked on language - it wont let me go back to the listing. Sorry if my question was misleading - just panicking -

When you do a factory reset you no longer have any channels scanned in.
Your box is acting perfectly normal, thats what a factory reset does.(hence when you goto factory setting it then says press ok to delete all channels)
select english
select installation
select provider
select automatic scan
when scanned turn on key emu and press ok on set default key.
goto subbed channel(sky two) and wait for update
If your box is running an old firmware(pre jan2009) you will need to enter the keys manually as box will not update, use google to find the keys

Thanks for the advise. Problem is when I do the scan its picking up nothing - Can't exit , just goes back to the language screen. No where to enter menu , emu etc.

Hi

I have the exactly the same problem, although I lost my BBC channels first on 5 boxes at home so I tried to rescan with no joy, then a factory reset on one but now I cant get back to anything as it does not find any channels to go back so, rescanning does not work, I have turned on the EMU. What do we do. my input cable is in correctly, how do I update the Firmware / connect to a PC (ps Simple advise is appreciated).
