I have the latest Jungle Flasher and iXtreme 1.51 firmware. I have never done a flash before, and have been reading up on the forums. Here is my setup below, am I all set to go? Can I run Jungle Flasher using the USB port? Almost everthing I read is about SATA hookups and I want to keep this simple. Thanks!

No. You have to take apart your xbox and connect to a sata port. You will most likely need to buy a card as most the onboards don't work unless they have a via chipset. I have heard the nforce works but I didn't have any luck with mine.
Thanks gameover, glad I didn't order anything yet. The modchip order sites show the X360USB adapter working for the Hitachi-LG-3120L drive. It is supposed to make it so you don't have to run a SATA cable to an adapter card in your computer, just plug into a USB port.
Is it just JungleFlasher that won't recognize it via the USB or does that adapater not do as it says?

All that is, is a usb to sata. There is no other way of doing it. You still have to connect to the sata on your dvdrom. Should work as long as it's a via chipset.
