Hey guys is there a way to get firmware 3.4 if im currently on 3.2 or 3.3? I want to mod my brothers wii and hes on 3.2. I used to do an automatic update thru nintendo but now that 4.0 has been released i cant get 3.4 The reason i want him on 3.4 is because thats the only firmware i know how to mod. its probably the most difficult but its the only one i know.

Everything still works on 4.0 if you take the proper steps. Just mod it on 3.2 and get homebrew installed. Then follow the guide to properly get 4.0 installed so you can still install wads, etc.

It is pretty much the same thing. You just need to get the correct zelda hack. beta 1 is what you want instead of beta 2
You could try using madworld. I think that game had 3.4 on it. Try inserting that game and see if it updates to 3.4, but it's really not necessary. My point was, there is not point to go to 3.4 when it works on 4.0.

can you be more specific? what is the firmware version??? 3.2 would be the easiest to crack no need to run the Wii FIX guide, while 3.3 would be like 3.4 you need to run te Cios Fix guide. so why bother to upgrade and then downgrade just follow the guide.
