Personally,I love them both as I own 1 of each.

Fat PSP
Likes:Sturdier than the Slim PSP,dosen't have that cheap feel to it,cheaper and easier to find than slim PSP's.

Slim PSP
Likes:Slimmer than the fat(duh),more RAM helps out with alot of stuff,screen makes games look better than ever.

All in all,it's still a PSP.You get to play games on the go,watch movies,listen to music,ect.(I'm not mentioning the other stuff because this is the PSP "General Discussion" board.)
