My psp Won't play games!!!

Hey, I modded my psp awhile ago and just recently it has begun to freeze at the psp logo when I try to start a game. I have loaded onto it homebrew and several different versions like 3.91 m33 and 5.xx m33 and I have come to be at 4.01. At first I thought it was bricked because it wont boot up properly. it gets to the wavy place and freezes so I use the recovery menu to get to the main menu...
Can anyone help me.

Sounds like something happen when you initially modded it I would reinstall 3.71m33 using a pandora batt and the mms. That way it either fixes the problem or you can rule out one big thing that could be casuing it. then install popsloader it helps ALOT

Ya lemme know, I have a phat 1000 running 5.00m33-6 the latest cfw and I have no trouble with my psx, eboot and isos, emus etc.

Hey, thanx to all contributers of this thread your opinnions and Ideas are valued deeply. they have helped me in finding the asnwer.
Heres what happened, my psp was reading as if I had a UMD inside it even though it was set not to the mod was missing components so my psp thought that when it loaded a game it was reading it from a game. the solution is to re modify my psp with the UMD drive open... this was not simple and has never been seen before so anyone with this problem I would urge to read this forum it will help alot. I will post later with the details.
