Flashing New Lite On with Modification Disc

I have got the key off of the Lite On and made the modified fw all using jungleflasher. How does the mod disc write the modified fw to the dvd drive? Will it ask for the location of the file or something?

Mod disc.......you cannot mod your dvd drive by putting a mod disc into it. You need all the tools( sata card, 360 xtractor, etc).

im pretty sure that the mod disc the OP is referring to is snowmans mod disc, that you boot from, and takes you step by step through the process. but to answer your question Sam, it should ask for the location of the FW that will be written to the drive. i personally cannot say for 100% that this will happen since i havent used it. im sure there are a couple of tutorials out there for the disc though.

however, if you did mean a disc to put in the console itself and it would mod it, then you need to start reading the tutorials.

I also have NOT used the mod disc wabash speaks of but I think the disc itself contains the 1.51 and runs firmtool or dvd32 in your ram to insert your keys, also giving you the option to save the modified file. Again that is just what I have gathered by reading this forum. Stealth uses the mod disc, maybe he will comment.
