Alright, so I dropped my PSP, LCd side down. Now I only have two problems.
One, when I shut off the system, through whatever method, be it through the theme's special button, a custom menu, or just holding down the power button, it shuts off, but the green power light keeps blinking for 20 seconds or so, and then it turns off.
The second problem is that I can't play any games. I've got CFW so I have games on the stick, and when it tries to boot up a game, it freezes in the middle of the white logo screen. Everything else works fine, music plays, movies play, no noticeable problems, other than that I can't access the games.
So what can I do? I've heard that it may be caused by a part coming loose, so I've got the PSP ready to open in another room, all the screws on the outside I've gotten rid of, but I'm worried about going any deeper until I know what to look for.
Is there any hope to fixing it for free? New motherboards on ebay range from $30-$70, for that money I might just rather look at used 2000 models.
