If in Ireland you need to input c***s manually as the latest firmware will not work after k**s rolled last time round.

This is not correct, if you have the correct firmware it will autoupdate.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

SG8 I'm not for one minute questioning your knowledge but is there a later firmware than the 22122008 version ?
I haven't been able to find one and I know where to look.
Have had to input k**s manually for the last 2 k** rolls

this firmware version works fine i have put it on a few tx's some of which updated straight others needed a kick start turn off switch at the back for a minute etc... you need to get data updating moving off 0% then it will happen

i tried that a few times on a buddies TX and loader gets to %100, box comes up saying update was successful but when I re connect it to the tv and scan, no channels are found!!! using the 22122008 firmware update

i cant remember the wording but after it said update succesful did it say data being written or something to that effect as it should do for it to work. Also I have come across one tx where the provider id for c****s was deleted so maybe worth having a look there

Feel free to question my knowledge (or correct it!!), the only reason I am a senior member is because I posted a bit more than newbies!!! It does not mean that I know what I am talking about!!!

your spot on it will update, i updated 8 tx's in december with that firmware and all updated when k*** rolled .It's probably something simple like giving it a hug or something....you know what i mean, sometimes these things need a bit of a kick start

Yip, I had the same prob flashing the eurovox tx on k>>>s. went through the motions, flashing, scanning etc and was then left with data updating . . . but not moving off 0%. I left it for a full night and nothing. maybe i need to give it more love, prob rub its nuts and bolts or something. I wound up putting the codes in manually, but it annoys me that i couldnt get the flash to work. I noticed the version was the old version and not the new firmware that was flashed to the box. interesting.

the date on the firmware doesn't change after flashing but once you got download complete and data being written then it worked.... did you try turning off the box for a minute and turning back on , change to a premium channel like s** sports and wait for a few minutes and if nothing try again. sometimes just a kick start needed

I may have turned it off once for about a second. Might not have been enough. These boxes remind me of women you have to be nice to them to get anything :-)
I have updated the codes manually since, so its probably too late to know if the firmware update was successful ? But I would assume that my new firmware is still on the tx. fair play to you (darst) updating 8 of them.

sorry about this i have read the forums and have updated my euroox TX with latest firware but is just sitting on 0% when trying to updae channels.
have tried restarting many times and still the same, could someone please help me??
PS on system info it says evx tx tx_23_11_07

goto "sky two" and see does it move from 0%
The key emu should always be on with the eurovox's but might be worth checking press menu, select language then type 1968 1968 and the emu will be there.
If worst comes to worst, google the keys for chorus and press menu, press yellow, put in keys and provider ID
PLEASE DONT PM ME FOR KEYS!

when i press menu there is no language listed :(
I am realy lost here
how do you check if the update took?
This is what i have done
put eurovox TX on standby
used TX_STBloader_1.1
browsed and selected eurovox_TX_22122008.bin
executed and got message saying download complete.
Is that the correct way?
I have also tried to input 1968 but nothing happens or changes when i do. ON system info it says 1969. Does it matter where in am in Ireland (Cork) have also input kodes and still nothing but Rte1 and god channel.
Could anyone please please give me a guide on how to update my Eurovox TX using Eurovox_TX__Fix_22-12-08_Loader_and_bin

You've done everything as I did with mine but I still had to input c**** manually also. Some of the other posters reckon you need to reflash and reflash until the box takes it.

If you manually entered keys and are still only getting Rte1 and god channel you are putting in either old keys or wrong provider ID
PLEASE DONT PM ME FOR KEYS!
