Wads not playing from SD card on 4.0

Hello all, well I used the patched version of 4.0 and everything works fine I installed a few wads on my wii afer updating it. I moved them to the sd card to try booting them from there but they won't boot. It says failure to launch every time I try to load them. so I tried to move them back to my wii but it wont put them back on my wii's memory either. What is the problem here? is anyone else having this problem? is there a solution?

from what I can tell it seems that when you install a wad it will play on the wii because its already on there. I copied a wad to the sd card and it played fine while it was still on my wii's memory. when I deleted it from the wii's memory it would no longer play from the sd card. is there a way around this problem that I am not aware of?

for you to play WAD on SD,You don't copy wad to SD, you have to used "move" to SD.

I did move them to sd and they wont play when I try to do that. i copied it the sd card and it played but stopped as soon as I removed them from the wii.

I read something about a patched version of ios60 being the solution for this. however, I came across this little post on youtube and wanted to see if there was any merit to such a comment. Anyone know anything about this?

Ok everyone that was the correct issue. Wanikoko's 4.0 safe update does not patch ios60. You will have to find a patched version (google) in order to play unsigned wads from the sd card.
