I have this server that I'm not really using which was given to me last year. I never set it up but I did look inside of it, cleaned it up a little, powered it on to make sure everything worked. It has two power supplies, one of which has died but it still operates just the same using one. The 8 hard drives are 73.4GB Seagate Cheetahs that run at 15K RPM with 32MB cache. It's loaded with 3GB of memory and has one more slot open. As if 8 drives weren't enough, it's also got two 2.5" laptop hard drives, 18GB each, beside the CD drive. Because I've never worked with a server before so I do not know many of the terms that would describe this machine better.

It was originally bought for use as a web server for almost a year and then the company that was using it went under, so the machine hasn't been used since then.

I'll be glad to post pictures if anybody here is interested. I don't know what this whole thing should go for but I know that the lot of 8 SCSI drives would go for $280. Anyone interested?
