Ok so i just picked up a used PSP from my friend and wanted to know what i needed to do to mod it. it is an ond fat 1000 psp. I know that I can make the pandoras batter but dont really want to sink any more money into it. I read somewhere that someone modded theirs from the memory card. I am rinning sw version 5.03 if that makes a difference. thanks alot in advance for the help

I'm new to this too, just modded my own phat, so I'm no expert.

First go into settings and figure out what firmware you have. What you do is based on that. Generally, you won't need to buy anything other than a memory card, and you convert the battery to a Pandora Battery, then back again, to get the custom firmware on. Read the sticky that says something like "read this second".
