Wii backup loader help

Bascially i need some help. i thought i would install homebrew channel and a backuo loader so i could play my backups.
i found a few guides on various sites.
i was on 3.4e managed to get the homebrew channel on eventually, and a backup loader but kept getting errors.
after reading various different stories on the internet, decided to downgrade thr firmware from 3.4e to 3.2e, this didnt quite go to plan and ended up downgrading to 2.2e, homebrew channel still works, go backup loader gamma 0.3 ios249 but its not loading disks, i know thw backups work cos i tried them on a friends wii.
do i need a different backuo loader as my friend has 2 on his wii to choose from

any help would be a godsend, this is my 3rd day at it now and i am losing the will to live!!!!!

you have the gamma loader but did you load/install cIOS rev7 or newer.

Go to this guide HERE and follow the step under Install WiiGator Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma.

If you get an error when installing the cIOS36_rev9 then you probably still have the limitation that 3.4 firmware places on the installation of WAD/cIOS files.

If you get an error when installing the cIOS you can go to the OCT 23rd 3.3/3.4 FIX section of the above linked guide. That section has a link to a guide that shows you how to fix the limitation of WAD/cIOS installation. Follow the What You Need section and Wii Fix Guide section(DO NOT UPDATE THE WII TO NEWEST FIRMWARE LIKE THE FIRST STEP OF THE GUIDE SAYS!).

After you do the fix you can then go back to the above link and then follow the Install WiiGator Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma section again.

thanks a million
i have successfully loaded a backup game
just to add to the post i put my wii fit on this morning and it auto updated to version 3.2e
dont know if this made a difference

do i need to keep all the file son the sd card, it might be an idea to back it up on my pc....
