hey guys, ive gotten tired of opening up my case just to flash so im thinking about doing this. on the second page of the link there's a cleaner looking version but essentially the same. i have also contemplated bringing the satas out of the hdd side of the box but im not sure about clearance or other issues. if anyone has any personal experiance/thoughts, do's and dont's, or better links on this subject i'd love to hear from ya. i dont wanna be cuttin up stuff i dont need to, and would like a clean look if possible.
guess that would work, but then again, how often do you have to open the console to flash it? once per year? twice at the most? and it only takes about 3 minutes to open it anyways.

yeah not often, but i modded my case with plexiglass and now the faceplate doesnt snap on right without tweakin the tabs so i figured the less opening the better.
oh i hear you with the tweaking the tabs and the plexi, did the same thing on my console and my bros console (pics on my profile). and know all to well what you mean what you mean by the tabs being in the way now. found that if you use a lighter and heat them up and bend then down a little bit they will slide under the plexi and help hold it in place.

Well if you don't want to keep opening your case get the x360blaster. It fits where the harddrive cover goes and has external ports. It allows for flashing, backing up games, and comes with a cool led. Check it out, I bought one from here, and works like a charm, I back-up games with ease and can flash my firmware as soon as a new one comes out. Read here for more info, and I really advise alot of people to get it, its the best thing since modded firmware for the xbox, wait that was really cheezy lol. Oh well heres the site.
the blaster does look nice, but not for 50 bucks. i can do essentially the same thing with 11 dollars worth of parts and an hours time. to bad im so cheap! lol
im thinkin about doing the same thing as the link i put but i kinda wanted to go out through the hdd area. parts for this would be 6 bucks for the dual sata ports and 6 bucks for a right angle sata cable. im just waiting to se if i can get any input on the subject.
