I have a 0021 error and xclamp did not fix it. This happened after I was trying to go in vendor mode.I unpluged and plugged in the dvd drive and got instamt 3 red lights 0021

This doesn't mean your motherboard shorted. Its mostly a dvd drive timeout. I take it you haven't done any research, but luckly I know a site, llama.com an xbox repair/mod site that helps many people, and has a forum that is bringing together xbox 360 error codes. 0021 DVD Drive Time out - Can be caused by problems with a firmware flash. This is also speculated to sometime be caused by a problem with the southbridge chipset on the motherboard.
You must have flashed wrong, because you can't short the xbox with what you have told us, so unless you know something we don't reflash the drive, and then reboot the xbox.
