Hey everyone
I hope someone will be able to point me in the right direction here :)
First my history with modded PSP's:
I used to have a bought-pre-modded PSP white which was awesome and worked great..then some asshole stole it -__-
Anyway a year goes by and I decide I'd like to get another one, but every online shop is out of stock, the new 3000's are out and to make things worse i hear some of the 2000's have a mobo which wont let you downgrade..Luckily i find a second hand "older" 2000 still in good condition and i decide to try and mod it myself.
So i crack open the battery, and cut the thread and successfully make my first pandora's batt :)
The firmware on the PSP was 3.7x or something like that.
Then using "Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick Creator v2.0 FULL" I made my MMS.
I then flashed my psp with the MMS and PB and all went well, it gave me 3.xx m33 CFW (can't remember the exact number)
I then downloaded 5.00 m33-6 from dark-alex's web site and also the 5.00.PBP put them in the right folder and ran the update.
Again everything went fine and i have 5.00 m33-6 running perfectly as far as i can tell.
But just now I went to play two of my Backed up UMD .CSO's
Havest moon and Popolocrois And i got an error msg saying the game could not be loaded. Looking online someone suggested changing the UMD ISO mode to m33 (it was on normal to start with)
This worked for Harvest moon but when i went to play Popolocrois i got:
"The game could not be started (80000108)"
I've tried all the UMD iso modes and no change, I've tried booting while holding the R trigger and setting homebrew kernel to 1.50, turning on/off MS acceleration.
I dont know what to do anymore.
I know its not a problem with the .CSO because i used to play it on my pre-stolen PSP.
Is there anything else I should have set up? or anything I need to install to run .CSO'S?
Did i skip some upgrading/downgrading steps when i went to 5.00? Because i didn't upgrade in stages, 3.xx > 4.xx > 5.xx I just went straight from 3.xx > 5.xx
I'm at a loss here, I know this stuff can work Since i had it all working on my last psp, but now doing it myself i must be missing some steps..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
