psp 2000 good or bad idea to hack it??

i was wonderin if it is a good idea to hack my psp becuz i want to be able to get iso's and cso's but im worried my psp will brake or something so if you think its a good idea then can u help me to do it properly nd safely??

i have two psps slims wich i hacked both and worked fine but i bought a tool Battery at codejunkies yes i know they are cheeper ones out there but trust them over same no name web page i never heared of before. i have buying from codejunkies for years if not they pages they goods
