My card is a Silicon Image Sil 3512 SATALink Controller
I go and press Benq Unlock
Benq Unlock command returned an error. Now I tried the whole
"open the drive tray..disconnect power and and close tray
halfway to see if i have any results..
This time I pressed Benq unLock and it said "Sending Magic
Keys to drive on port "xxxxx"" Done! Sending Vendor Intro
Vendor Intro Failed
I press the "intro/device ID" button and it gives me a box
saying "if you wish to resend the command power off the drive
and then back off...etc..i press yes.. and follow the instructions.
Nothing works I tried pressing Read and it says "Device intro
failed! Getting Status from port 0x9800
Invalid Status 0x51
Im REALLY stuck I have read all the jungleflasher tutorials,
and IM doing everything like it says but...idk im stuck LOL

Hey thanks for you reply man! Yeah its a benq spoofed as a hitachi, and I've NEVER used this card to flash before, all i know the install disc says "Serial ATA PCI Card" so im thinking its the card. Ill ANY via6421 sata raid controller work?
Power cycling? Do you mean when you click the get device info, and it gives u like a sec to take out the power lead and put it back in the drive within a sec? I tried that the status still remains 0x50 or 0x51. I dont have a vt6421, i am going to the store to get one, I just basicly ask them for a sata/raid controller with the vt6421 chipset?
