And also ive been using ixtreme 1.4 to mod 360s if i want to jump to 1.5 would i have to do anything special as far as modding?

that tutorial worked great for me, although the tut uses different drive types itll be basically the same process ( i can help you out if you have any questions)
and also to upgrade firmware depending on what program your using all you need to do is download the new FW file (iExtreme 1.51) and if your using iPrep get the new ixdef file. You will NEED to use Jungle Flasher to spoof the BenQ as the Samsung.

Like the other member said, USE Jungle Flasher! If you just load a ix firmware in Firmware Toolbox and copy in your key, you will be missing serial data.

Simply load your original firmware into JF source, choose NO on autoload, load what ever type of firmware you wish to spoof to.

Vista is your problem, i tried for a good week and Vista is just NOT compatible with modding, you need to use Windows XP (or older)
