this is what i have done to prepare my xbox for flashing.

instaled
-portio32 driver
-ck3 tool driver (not from xecuter website)

running newrest jungleflasher and using ck3 pro n probe.

drive detected but get a serial data is bad error. com1 available only. tuts say use com3 but dont hav access to it.

what am i doing wrong for the com3 not to show up

If the tutorial is telling you to use COM3, then just type in the bar COM3. Even if it's not in the drop-down menu, it sometimes will work. I mean that's what it did for me once, and I just typed it in.
