trying to flash sammy ms28 for the first time...

hey guys, i'm new to this whole hacking thing, and i've stumbled upon a problem. i purchased a VIA VT6421A Serial ATA RAID PCI Controller Card off of Tekgems. I have installed the card into my comp, updated the drivers, and it shows up properly. so i was going to hack my system following Textbook's guide, so i got iprep and everytning, made my usb boot, and cracked open my 360. i got as far as the DOS prompt, and when it came time to recognize my drive i got the no drive detected error.

i tried looking up how to fix it, but i've had no luck. i've used different drivers for the card, i've used the little black sata cable that is in the 360 itself.

i have no idea what to do, and was wondering if anyone here could help.

sorry, i should have stated that too, i've tried to use jungleflasher as well, and my drive doesn't show up at all there either.

What OS are you running?

Did you install the PortIO32 driver for Jungle Flasher?

Are you using the VIA card with or without drivers?

Only help I can provide is with Jungle Flasher as I do not use iPrep.

i'd prefer to use jungleflasher, so that's okay. i'm running 32bit vista ultimate, and am using the via card with drivers. (i've used the most up to date drivers, and i've tried some older ones as well.) and i've also installed portio 32.

do you have .net 3.5 installed. are you using the internal sata connection or the one on the outside of the case?
