Happy easter everyone!
I have a via 6421 sata card and a maximus executioner kit ,
I have flashed a variety of drives before, but never spoofed one to be another.

My friend wrecked his benq drive, i used jungleflasher to dump the firmware and key from this drive.

I have a hitachi 79 drive.

I want to spoof this hitachi as a benq.

Downloaded and burned the unlock 79 disc,
burned the .bin file using img burn
powered jungleflasher 1.55 with hitachi 79 drive connected.
inserteds the disc
Clicked "unlock drive"
...................................
and thats how far i have got....
just freezes , doesnt read the drive...


Can anyone hel[p me please?

ok, do you have the 79 drive in mode B when you try the unlock command? It should be visible in Windows before you run the 79 unlock.
