Hi, I was thinking about softmodding my sisters wii. I havent done a lot of research on it (I have a wiikey). But I wanted to know what people think about doing this? Can I play most backups with a softmodded wii? Or should I just get a wiikey and find someone to install it?

I dont think she has ever updated, what is the maximum IOS she can have before you can't soft mod? (3.4?)

Yes. It rocks and it's free! It has yet to find a game for me that doesn't work as most do. There is a list out there that will tell you what games will and won't work, but I have yet to find one that doesn't.
