Gran Turismo 5 prologue PLEASE HELP

I am hoping someone can help me. When GT5 Prologue came out I bought it on blu-ray disc. Since then, one of my idiot friends managed to wreck the disc by putting a huge scratch in it. I loved the game so much that I purchased the downloadable version from the playstation store. My problem is that the save file from my original disc game isn't recognized by the new version I have downloaded. Does anyone know if there is a way to use my original save on the new game and if so how?

I Don't no but you no u could get the game for next to nothing in in the shops

From everything I have read or known about GT5P you are out of luck. The BD version gamesave will NOT work on the DL version and vice versa.

But you do have an option, just go here to GTPlanet, find the specific downloadable version you have (US, EU or JP etc.), follow the instructions on how to put them on a USB Thumbdrive or Memory Stick like SD or Sony Pro Duo to then transfer them to your PS3.

Just remember to backup your gamesave first! Or do what I did and make a new login on the PS3 (with a cool GT5P theme) and use that one for your original gamesave OR the new one!
