Seems the mic breaks with these updates but works on rev 8. Anyone ran into this?

I am on cIOS36_rev9

Tried...

American idol
Boogie
Guitar Hero (a few of them)
Rock Band

And none of the MICS worked.

More then likely this is due to the USB Loader being added to these cIOS versions. It is probably messing it up somehow. Hopefully in future releases this will be fixed.

Wow. Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it wasn't just me. I think you're right and hope a fix comes out for it. I know a workaround is to reinstall rev8 and it will work again, but of course then the usb loader or sd loader doesn't work. Since I have you here :) how to you setup the SD loader with loader on the SD card with your game? I got it to work but it formats the card and then kills the SD loader. Was hoping there was a channel for it. Thanks again Larry! Oh, and I did search.

I think you need to partition your SD Card. 1 Partition for your Homebrew apps and the other partition can be formated with the WBFS file system. But I could be wrong. Havent tried it vis SD card yet.

Hmm, that's what I thought but XP won't let me parition it.

Well you need to for it to boot off the SD Card. Also I read that cIOS36_rev11 will fix the USB issue with WiiSpeak and mics. So hopfully it will not be long.
