Some queries before I buy a PSP

I'm planning to buy a PSP in the next couple of days and wanted to ask a few things. I'll be buying one of the new ones (PSP 3000). I know that gaming is the PSP's forte, but what about music/videos/internet browser etc? Specifically:

Music player:
- Does it allow things like sorting tracks on the basis of Artist/Album?
- Does it show embedded album art for MP3s?
- Is there any max limit to the number of songs I can play on the PSP (I read somewhere that you can't play more than 999 songs is that true)?

Videos:
- Does it play XviD or DivX videos out of the box (without CFW)?

Browser:
- Does it support Javacript?
- Does it support Flash? Can it be used for YouTube vids?
- Can I use it to view txt/html files on the memory stick?
- Can it play embedded sound/video files on websites?

The 3000 can do almost all of the things you listed, but other specific functions are only possible with CFW. The best time to buy a PSP was in mid-September of 2008 because that was before the V3 mobo surfaced. I would buy a secondhand 2000 from gamestop in order to take advantage of homebrew. The 3000 is great! I have one myself but the only thing you can't do is use homebrew.
