My girlfriends Xbox is kinda screwed up, So I figured replacing the DVD drive would fix it. I opened it up and its SATA so i was just going to grab a regular SATA burner or something, only thing is, im not sure If i need a DVD ROM drive or not, and if so I dont know where to find a SATA DVD ROM Drive. Please Help Guys Im going to work in like a couple hours and I need to know what to get

Are you serious? What has given you the inclination that you can just put any sata dvd drive inside of your xbox? Now unless I misunderstood your question the answer is NO. You have to have a drive that microsoft has used in production. The replacement drives are relatively cheap. Also there is some significant steps you must perform in order for a replacement to work. Goodluck.

EDIT... you said you opened it and noticed it was Sata... did you notice the power cable? Is this a 360 or original, cuz I personally have never looked at the inside of an original xbox 1.
