Custom firmware on a PSP?

OK, i downloaded a game for my psp in cso format. I put it in the right folder and all but i cant even see the game in the memory stick. I have a phat psp, with 3.80 official firmware. What should I do to get it to work? Please don't lock this thread because I'm in a really bad position, I live in Greece and here it's not in the stores anymore. I'm trying to find it but it's nowhere. I need to know how to get it to work!!!

to play cso or iso files on your psp you need to be running custom firmware. good news is that 3.80 should be able to be cracked. go to http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/708959 and give that a go. any trouble and i will try and help.

oh and just as an after thought you obviously dont know much about modding psp so read around in the forums so you know what your up to.
