AT&T is rumored to be negotiating with Apple to extend their agreement to be the US iPhone provider. The carrier's exclusive contract is currently set to expire in 2010. Hmmm, however AT&T Wireless has been a business separate entity since 2002 though.

it just seems stupid. since apple them selves are money mongering whores in the first place why not make the phone avaliable on more networks. at least the top three in the US which would be Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T.

Yes, it sure would be nice if the iPhone wasn't being monopolized by a single carrier. I sure would like to use it, but I don't want to have to switch to AT&T (or T-mobile, not available in my area) for it.

Question for iPhone owners:

Can you somehow sync with MS Outlook?
