Help please with flashing Benq drive

Hello, I am not very familiar with flashing, but I need some help to get it to work. I have my PC open and my Xbox 360 open and it uses a Benq dvd drive. I recently purchsed a usb to sata cable from ebay but not sure how it is supposed to work. I plugged the use end in my pc and other end switched the black cable from the xbox dvd drive to the sata. Well it said found new device but then said that it cannot install it. I cannot figure out how. I already have burned games for xbox 360 just need to be able to have my xbox play them Please if anybody could step byb step me thatd be great. also I have aim and it is itso4life if it is easier. Thank you all for your patience.

first of all get rid of the usb to sata and here is a good tut to follow
you will need
via 6421 sata pci card
sata cable
flash drive
and a method of power either your 360/aftermarket power source
iprep 101 v008.8

It is a normal red sata cable, there should be atleast one with your sata card.
I personally flashed my BenQ drive with dosflash32.

Ok thank you. I used iPrep before but only thing was the sata to usb did not recognize my benq so I think I should be fine with the via card. When I receive it I will try and if I have any questions I will ask. Thank you
