i was wondering if the type of dvd (brand, speed, and such) matters when burning a ps2 game,

ill try that
i burned two games at speed 4x with Ashampoo 6 but i would only see a black screen after i went through the swap magic process
any ideas why?
the dvds were hp DVD+R with a max burn speed of 16x

could be bad torrent or were ever ur dwnloadin frm or the disc are crap and if u can try them 2 back ups at 1 of ur m8s ps2 or sum other modded or wid a different swap magic version and what were the 2 games

not yet i ordered a 25pack of dvds online so i have to wait
as for dvd decrypter ill give it a go with one of the dvds i have now

Edit:
i used DVD Decrypter and burned with the discs i currently have at 8x and it worked

This may sound stupid, but in ESR, it says "Start CD/DVD" Do you NEED to use a DVD, Can I use a CD instead to burn games on?

DVDs are for PS2
and CDs are for PSX games i think
